In early April 2024, I went for the first time in my life to the Gurten in Bern. While I was sitting there, enjoying a picknick and playing Frisbee with my friend, I saw two little kids running around the big plains on the hill. They both wore a red sweater and white pants, I’m pretty sure they were siblings. While they were running around, I was reminded of my childhood and these early and sunny spring days without a single care in my mind. So this photo series is a homage and love letter to these days. When I told Timon the Idea of “Frühlingsgefühle“, he was directly down to shoot it. While he shot only digital to boost the vibrant colors in post, I tried to capture the nostalgic feel on film.
